Sony SAB was known as SAB Tv formerly and was renamed after Sony network took over SAB Tv to Sony SAB. Sony SAB is owned by Culver Max Entertainment.

Sony SAB got famous due to its shows like Yes Boss and Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah that are longest running sitcoms and are popular in viewers.

History of the Sony SAB:

Sony SAB was launched as Hindi language Channel, that aired comedy shows. This was launched by Gautum Adhikari and Markand Adhikari on April 23 , 1999. SAB Tv rights were transferred to Sony pictures network in March, 2005 as they took over the Channel and changed the name to Sony SAB.
